Friend,

Happy Giving Tuesday and welcome to December! Our wonderfully successful fundraiser was only a few weeks ago but if you were unable to give and would like to participate in our Giving Tuesday Campaign, please click here. Also, while you're getting your holiday shopping done, why not support us with Amazon Smile? Every eligible purchase donates 0.5% to your charity of choice. Click here to set up donations to the GBC.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the Spaulding New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center's KiM lecture webcast. The topic is Neurogenic Bladder After SCI: Common Questions and Misconceptions. Click here to register.

Next week, all of our Discussion Groups will acknowledge the importance of mental health awareness with group speakers and helpful discussions. We hope you'll join us as we discuss this important topic.

Lastly, we have a fun virtual holiday party planned for you on Saturday, December 19th, 1:00-4:00pm. To receive the party package, be sure to RSVP by December 4th! We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you.

We hope to see you at one of our virtual events!

A Good Read

Bob Vogel’s 12 Holiday Gifts for Wheelchair Users
" ‘Tis the season for holiday gift lists. For about eight years after my injury in 1985, I was bothered by annual variations of “gift ideas for wheelchair users,” and I couldn’t figure out why. I’d learned to live and thrive as an adventurous T10 para, and would have been thrilled with a gift of, say, a new race chair. Heck, I would have been thrilled with a pair of wheelchair racing gloves. So why the resistance to lists?..."
