The money raised at the "TR24" Legacy WIFFLEBALL Tournament will provide critical equipment for paralyzed survivors of spinal cord injuries.
From 2001 until 2021, the Travis Roy Foundation WIFFLE Ball Tournament was held at the Little Fenway Complex in Essex Junction, Vermont. Over a period of 20 years, the tourney raised more than $7.5 million to support paralyzed survivors of spinal cord injuries. At the request of the late Travis Roy, his namesake foundation closed in 2022, but the needs have not diminished for those with spinal cord injuries. Travis was an active volunteer and admirer of the work of SCIboston, and proceeds from this revitalized WIFFLEBALL Tournament will now benefit the impactful Travis Roy Legacy Grant Program at SCIboston, which was modeled after the Quality of Life Grant Program at the Travis Roy Foundation which benefited more than 2,400 spinal cord injury survivors. The "Best Weekend of the Year" continues to help those with paralysis, and we are grateful for your support.
In addition to our Travis Roy Legacy Grant Program, SCIboston offers programs to the SCI community that support our ongoing mission to reach, inspire, support, and empower individuals with spinal cord injuries and their family members. Our longstanding programs include 1:1 Peer Mentoring, Support Groups, Education Programs, Social Events, resources, and more.
