The money raised at the Next Shift WIFFLE Tournament will provide critical equipment for paralyzed survivors of spinal cord injuries.
From 2001 until 2021, the Travis Roy Foundation WIFFLE Ball Tournament was held at the Little Fenway Complex in Essex Junction, Vermont. Over 20 years the tourney raised more than $7.5 million to support paralyzed survivors of spinal cord injuries. At the request of the late Travis Roy, his namesake foundation will close in 2023, but needs have not diminished for those with acquired spinal cord injuries. Travis was an active volunteer and admirer of the work of SCIboston, and proceeds from this revitalized WIFFLE Tournament will now benefit the impactful individual grant program at SCIboston, which was modeled after the Quality of Life Grant Program at the Travis Roy Foundation which benefited more than 2,400 spinal cord injury survivors. The "Best Weekend of the Year" continues to help those with paralysis, and we are grateful for your support.
