Spinal Cord Injury Transition Program

Do you know someone with an SCI that is living in a nursing home? We are pleased to announce that the GBC has a Spinal Cord Injury Transition Program which assists individuals with SCI in transitioning out of nursing homes to living in the community. This program was started in December 2021 and is led by Occupational Therapist, Stacie Selfridge. We are looking for new candidates who are motivated to move back into the community. Please contact info@sciboston.org for more information or to recommend a candidate.

Season of Giving

As we enter the season of charitable giving, we hope you will consider making a  tax-deductible donation to the GBC (Greater Boston Chapter of United Spinal Association). With the generosity of our donors, we are able to continue our mission in supporting individuals and families affected by spinal cord injuries.

Your donations, of any amount, goes towards providing our spinal cord injury community with Peer Mentoring, Support Groups, social events, resources, educational programing, and more. These services are offered at no charge to our participants.

Here are a few ways you can contribute and make an impact; any amount makes a big difference.

  • Donate directly through our website: You can donate through our website with a credit/debit card or by check to the address listed below. You have the option to set up a recurring payment in any amount, ie: $5, $10, $50 or more per month. Click here to donate today.
